I finally decided to add lynxes to my setting!
One of the two feline races in my setting, the Ajshar, looked only like caracals so far, and that was a problem in making a character recognizable. I decided to make some of them look more like lynxes to add some variety (and because I freaking love lynxes, of course) XD

This guy is a warrior of the northern tribes. They live in semi-nomadic tribes and small kingdoms, and they are mainly herders, hunters and most of all warriors. The lands they live in are mountainous, with steppes, cold desertic areas and some forests, and this harsh environment certainly helped in shaping their society in that way.
They are the only population among the Ajshar that managed to keep their independence after the human invasion, mainly because no one had interest in invading a region with no resources and full of belligerent "savages". Of course they believe it's solely because of their amazing skill as warriors, and they are extremely proud of that. :P
