Meet Samael, or Sam for short.
Some things to note:
She's a bear, with demonic attributes (hooves and horns).
Hair is a lopsided cut, and is pink and black.
There's a bit of white fur bordering her hooves.
Her story:
She started life as an ordinary bear, growing up in the 20s and eventually becoming an adventurer and world-travelling archeologist. One fateful day on an expedition to explore a lost temple, she stumbled across a ritual chamber containing a mysterious artifact. Upon touching it, she was transformed into a demon, gaining her demonic attributes. Her original name was taken from her, completely torn out of her memory, and she was given the name Samael.
The change was instantaneous and she was given no chance to adapt to her new form and new life as a demon before she was ripped away through time and space to emerge at her first demonic summoning. She quickly learned that her demonic role was as a seducer, and through summoning after summoning she indulged her worshipers' carnal desires, even if they themselves didn't know they had them.
But one day she was summoned by a man, and she felt no lustful wishes within him. He was old, and his time was nearing, and all he desired was some company when he passed. It was then that she realized her other demonic role was that of an angel of death. She stayed with him, and would have even if he had not bound her to the mortal plane until his soul found peace, and kept him company for a few weeks, listening to a lifetime of stories, both humble and grand.
But inevitably the time came and the old man passed, and Samael prepared for her next summoning, only to find that it didn't come. She realized that the old man had bound her "until his soul found peace", which she thought had meant his death. But his soul never did find peace, and with his death it became no more, leading her to become stuck between worlds, a demon living amongst mortals.
And so it is that she walks the earth, trying to figure out her place in life, and how she fits into the mortal world again.
