" Quick footsteps could barely be heard in the grass outside the castle. Luck ducked behind carts and sheds as she closed the distance to Bartholomew's Castle. "His bedchamber is on the fifth floor. That would be child's play for 'Neki to reach from the outside." thought the feline to herself as she went. She moved in shadow and kept an eye on patrolling guards, making sure to stay in their blind spots and wait for opportunities to move on. "A paralysis rune is on both of the windows into his bedchamber, and an incineration rune is inside of his chimney shaft." she remembered Sly's words during the briefing. "He has an access tunnel hidden under his bed in case he needs to escape unnoticed. It’s small and hasn’t been used in years. He’s too big to get through there now. But you should be able to get through it without a problem." his words continued in her mind as she closed in on the main part of the castle. "I guess this is more suited to me." she thought as she geared herself up.

Luck came to a silent stop with her back against a wall of the castle. Peeking around the corner to her left she spied another guard. She'd seen his partner walk off on her approach. He was presumably starting a new patrol route while this guard stood watch over the door. The feline smirked to herself as she picked up a pebble from the ground next to her. She tossed it in the air a couple of times as she decided what to do with it. The small rock made a clattering noise as it was thrown from Luck's position into a nearby cart. The guard looked quickly toward the sound and moved to investigate it. Luck watched him pass by her before moving toward the door and slipping in undetected."
