Welp, I didn’t want to introduce them so early, but eh..
Meet Eve, they’re a genetically modified Honey Badger. Now if you wish to know purpose for creating them, please allow me to explain~

Shadow was created as the “Ultimate Life Form”, correct? And we all know Project Shadow had been shut down at the last second in fear of him being dangerous, yes? Well think about it this way- Shadow now works for G.U.N, the government agency who funded the project in the first place, but as we’ve seen from the Sonic Universe comic “Shadow Fall”, some humans would not be surprised if Shadow himself turned on the humans. So who’d be surprised if G.U.N. as a whole would decide to take precautions? And knowing that humans never learn their lesson, who’s to say they wouldn’t decide to create their own “Ultimate Life Form” in case they’d need to counter Shadow? So, after somehow managing to get DNA from Shadow(or perhaps from Eclipse?), they’d start their own project.
