I got to fly.. or at least take the controls of a single engine like that for a while. Ive always wanted to take lessons. I had a sucessfull takeoff and flight using a simulator (cirrus II?) I want to say complex enough you could log time on it. Sadly I did not have the controlls calibrated right and ended up pancaking the runway on the landing it was dragging to the left the whole time due to the malfunction. I got it calibrated correctly but never got a chance to operate it again.

O that really sucks. I got to take that plane off and land it. It was awsome. I loved it. Sorry about your simulator malfunctions. :(

Im not. If it was not malfunctioning I would not have been paid a fair chunk of change to repair it. It was a pretty complex system. Had a full console with all the guages, a full radio setup next to that like you would in a regular plane, 2 monitors to act as your view screen and even foot peddles. Im hoping the person who owns it will take me up in his plane some time and let me try the real thing out. Also would be nice to get photos of the farm while up there.

Hehe sounds cool. Anytime you get a chance to fly take it. Its awsome!! Expecially if your the one flying. :3 If you get any pix of the farm from the sky i want to see them. That would be cool. :)

It was a little scary when we stalled the plane on purpose to teach us how to get out of a stall. It was fun though. :)

Oh you should try gliding- i really recommend winch lauches!! If they're anything like over here you go from 0 to about 70mph is about 3 seconds!! The first time i went up i came down grinning ear to ear- i didn't stop grinning till the next day

The first time i ever flew was on board a 747 going on holiday... My first thought was 'how the heck can something this big accelerate so damn fast?!'

Although i'm flying RC glider more, my dad's RC flying wing is still a scream to fly as it's sooo damn fast!!

And yes, i have crashed it more than once

I have RC flyers.. And yes they do go fast.. and yes they crash alot!! XD Last crash tore the rudder off of the plane. XD

Aww man.... There's a model company called Al's Hobbies that do a model called the Voodoo... When i went to the last model airshow they flew this thing.... Oh man it's tiny and awesomly fast- i mean blink and it's gone!!!

I'm in the process of repairing my dad's 1/4 scale tiger moth after he ground looped her a few months ago.... nose, tail and top/bottom wings all damaged.... He's not flying it again without me there

I'm good at dogfighting and barnstorming thanks to the WW2 flight sims i play on... But i doubt i'll get away with doing immelman turns and jinking around chasing Me 109s in a cessna 172 !!

Hahaha, this is gonna sound stereotypical but for me it's the Spitfire mk1A, the Hurricane mk2 or the Lancaster B1... Ahh heck, i love most planes from WW2!!

Not too keen on modern aircraft though... Although the BAE Harrier, the F-111 , the A10 and the F22 are all good looking

Yes.. I love almost all WW2 planes. :3 And same with me.. not too keen on modern aircraft. But i wish that the F-14 was still in servace. :3 I like the F/A-18 Super Hornet also. :3

i wasn't too keen on the F-14 at first, but it's getting better as i build more models of them
