In the wide-open areas of Falana, along the south outskirts of Aurora Village lies a vast field filled with acres of tall grasses and shrubs, all swaying in a very soothing motion by the gentle wind brushing past them. Basking in all its scenic beauty during the sunset, two travelers start to wander into the area. Dust, the skilled warrior with the heart of a lion yet a kind soul, walks through the field in an effort to take a moment of peace from his duties. Hovering by his side is his witty, winged companion, Fidget, who has stood by Dust as a travel partner since the beginning of his journey. As the duo felt the soft wind against their backs while it sweeps up some bush leaves into the air, Dust started to gaze at the radiant sun setting down into the horizon. Fidget, however, while her friend was distracted, sneakily flew down to his shoulder height and slipped right under his coned hat, crawling right on his shoulder and shifting around to get comfortable, her arms drooped down his front for support. Her face was suddenly changed to a look of shy innocence, knowing that Dust would most likely have felt her body on him, which he did as he turned his head to her in surprise.
".. Heh. Couldn't resist snuggling up a bit?" He smiled softly as he raised an eye slightly, getting a frowny look of denial in return from Fidget. "No, I.. I just needed some shade." Dust couldn't help but chuckle with a cheeky smile. "Fidget, the sun's directly in front of us." The nimbat looked ahead with a grumpy face as she crosses her arms. "M-my wings are tired then!" Dust rolled his eyes slightly, still wearing that smile as he slowly raises his hand up to the top of her head, stroking right between the ears with his fingers in a soothing motion. "Heh. If you say so." It took Fidget a while in the middle of her denial of enjoying this petting, but soon enough she found herself feeling much more relaxed as her arms drooped right back down Dust's chest. She speaks softly soon enough. "W-well um.. I thought it'd be nice to get comfy with uh.. you. M-my friend. While we're out here. There, I said it." Dust nodded with a smile, giving as much of a respectful answer as he can. "Nothing wrong with that. I really do enjoy the company, so thanks. And.. Thanks as well, for sticking with me like this. It's been a great journey with you tagging along." Fidget finally looked up at her companion directly, her eyes widened a bit before she looked down, smiling. "I'm.. glad to hear that. It makes me feel better about being around not just for keeping an eye on that sword of yours. I.. I'll keep trying to help you out as much as I can." She looked up to him again with a wider smile as Dust nods in response, continuing with petting her head. "Thanks, Fidget.." They both look on ahead, watching the sun having sunk deeper into the horizon, the radient glow slowly shrinking around the sky.

".... Don't you dare call me a pet, Dust."

"Hehe. Not that I was going to, don't worry, Fidget."

First time drawing Dust and Fidget, I knew about this game for a really long time and i'm glad to get a chance to draw them out XP
