To start, I hate fanart as a general rule. I do. I would rather come up with my own whacked out, inspired, or entertaining characters to draw. I have turned down several commissions in the past because I didn't want to do some video game or cartoon characters.
Yet, with some measure of pleasure, I present this. Sally Acorn, who is fucking awesome.
I grew up on Bugs Bunny, video games, and saturday morning cartoons. I love all of these things for different reasons, but as a kid there was nothing I loved more than video game cartoons. Seeing a live action Mario to this day remains hilarious. But something seemed extra sweet about what happened when Sonic got cartoons and comics. I mean, you take something as simple as a fast platforming game and make such a colorful background? Shit yeah!
Hell, way back when, I was trying to emulate the comics' drawings. I still own a few to this day, complete with my crappy reproductions wedged inside and ballpoint pen indentations on the opposite page.
So first as a long-standing Sega and Sonic fan, I am pleased to present this.
Also, I wish to dedicate this picture to
Orca1 for being a groovy cat to chat with, and who ironically introduced me to Sonic drive-in restaurants. I wish to give mad props as well to
Norithics for perverting such an awesome thing and making me laugh my ass off in the process. Keep doing that thing you do, WA-HA!

I 'KNOW' who this is; and the V.A. that did her 'Justice'!
Great Work on ol' Sal Gal, GM; this brings bak the memories that I had in the Past with Sonic and Company in the Early 90's, dude.
-This just Screams 'Perfection', even though, FanArt isn't your thing-
Hell of a Job on Sally, once more, mann; Trury Epic and Astonishing, my friend.
Keep at it, mann; though no need 4 the Mature warning, Sally's 'Knows' how to handle that problem All too well. -XD-
