The fire crackled out with radiant warmth as the embers flicked up into the night sky, the fiesty feline sneaking up on the would be intruder out in the lost world, where ever towering pines stretched upon the wilds for as far as the eye could see, wild berries and fruits hang abundantly, a paradise, given to those that first inhabited the earth, to keep sacred from outsiders. None were allowed to enter, unless, they were willing to return back to their roots.
Legends and folklore of the feral tribes that roamed the lands spoke over the flickering coals of the fire with the travelers of when the earth was inhabited by the animals of yore. Coyotes tricksters weaved out their dastardly tricks, ravens dancing in the sky, stirring up mischief pecking the curious kittens who wandered too far from their den, watching from underneath the oaks as the wide plains ran full of buffalo, elk, and rabbits to hunt and rivers to dance through with their crystal clear streams. Perhaps for the humans, it was a time once long ago, but, still for them, one question remained unasked. What if one had been born in another shape, or another time? Would it be misfortune perhaps to leave it all behind, or another chance? The figure out ahead gave a soft wink back, beckoning out to a carved fanged charm to offer you. A soft flickering warmth emerging out from it, and with a flicker, darted out only to vanish into the forest.

The edited Headshot, a semi collab-(mission?) by Budgie2001 of Farseer Vaskira as part of a commission/art bid. She did the original headshot. The original was a 250x200 pixels wide and showed up as about a inch wide on my screen, so, i just upsized it, did a little bit of tweaks out to sharpen the lines, and then added some background and lighting.
The commission was originally part of a voluntary art bid for a paintie / character design that got out of control. We let people bid on art and since i didn't want to be accused of bias, people to my surprised tried to bid on it.
I skipped the drama but this is 1 of the 4 things that was supposed to be delivered. I think i only ever got 2 and then a bucket of drama from the poster and tumblr harassment a few years later. I have no cares for the rest and i like the piece but pretty much zero desires to go back and i think everyone had buyer's regret from what was just meant to be a "I love their design!" "Me too!" for a character that became a golden apple of envy for the day and got ridiculously and massively overbid. Even if 50% of it never appeared and it came with a bucket of drama.
