The desert is a great place for dragons. It's sunny, warm, and filled with nice sand to sprawl out in. Still, sometimes even a dragon needs to make his own shade. I wonder what I'm looking at over there?
So, this is a wonderful semi-realistic commission I got from
fellfallow and I'm stunned with how it came out, especially the way the lighting is done and the rather unexpected bonus background (Thanks again for that one :P).
