This local food critic sat in at the newest restaurant in town, insulting the ambience and even the service. But the last straw came when, after finishing the main course, he dared to proclaim it "slop so appalling even a pig wouldn't eat it."
This was more than the chef could take. But rather than kick the critic out, the chef sent him a fresh souffle, an old family recipe, compliments of the house.
