Another job concept for the aerie race I've been designing recently.

The judicator is one of the higher castes of mages. They are responsible for the detainment of outlaws and can determine who is the guilty party in a given crime. It's not to say that their verdicts are 100% right, but nobody dares to question their power.

Most judicators that are selected for the job are born blind, and it helps when they are casting debilitating magics, one of which causes blindness. They aren't great at offense as they rely on more passive means of subduing someone who escapes. However, they tend to assist soldiers in battle to provide an ironically unfair advantage.
