This is the fact file of another one of my superheroines who I had created for the Furry Supers yahoo rp group. This one is on Helvetia, the National Heroine of the little European country of Switzerland. Like Germania and Britannia, she is the most recent female to use the name, with the first one being one of the four sword maidens who loyally served the Emperor Charlemagne (the other three being Germania, Italia and Francia, the predeccesor of the present French national heroine, Marianne). Like Britannia, all of the previous Helvetias have come from the same family, who have originally lived in the Swiss Canton of Uri, the home canton of the Swiss national hero, William Tell. Helvetia mainly operates nowadays out of Berne, the Swiss capital.

Hmmm, just had a thought about Perchta the whitetail magic user mentioned.
Since Whitetails arent' native to Europe, this makes me think. Adventurous deer might make the trip and find they like Europe over the course of 4-5 centuries or moved there with new euro spouses.
Though I do have to wonder if some of the original Dare family's fellow magically transformed Roanoke colonists or the descendants of same returned to europe under assumed names...

I don't know, but Perchta is native to southern Germany and the alpine region. She is suppose to be a German goddess. There's information on her in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perchta. Just thought having her as a deer doe would be more interesting than, say a bear or a boar, which the description might call for.
