Here we see Dandelion and Trevor Mellivor, Heads of the Mellivor family of well over 100 kids/kits/pups/children on a farm outside of Zootopia. These OCs and their family are loosely based on a real-life family in the Philippines.
Dandelion or Dandi, Lola to the kids (Tagalog for Grandmother), is a sister of Bonnie Hopps. A cinnamon bunny, taller than her sister. She's married to Trevor or Trev, Lolo to the kids, a honey badger and ex-military. Retired, had adopted two children years ago. Decided to help at a government-run orphanage after retiring early. Not liking the prospects of a State housed child, they decided to commit to adopting and providing a permanent home and family for as many kids as they could handle on a self-sustaining farm.
The family has many species, ages, special needs, mammal-trafficking victims, disaster orphans and so on. The older kids help the younger kids, schooling and church on-site. Many of the older kids have gone to college and returned to help teach and support the family.

The scary thing is, is that this family is based on a real family in the Philippines that currently has about 175 members, according to our mission team that just came back from spending most of a week with them. Older kids help run things, but almost everyone contributes. Have their own school, raise chickens, have a dairy herd, make cheese, grow food and fodder for the animals, and so on. It actually works rather well..
Here is an older pic of them, back when it was 130 or so..:) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24122068/
A pretty great story in R/L, actually.. Take care! Stubat
