Surprise buddy! ^_^ haha this was a sketch I started in my buddy 
omegagoji sketchbook and it kinda went from there after he sent me a scan of the picture. I liked the armor and of course his character so much I decided to finish it out in style! He and his girlfriend 
cureineko are super nice so please give them a shout sometime or even lovins! ^^
On an art note this was practice for nice reflective armor and coloring. And though I dont think I pulled it off as per my expectations it's still a step in the right direction. SO many great little details in the armor including the glowing parts. It was just so much fun.

Glad you liked it Ryan! ^_^ I spent hours on all the reflections and stuff. Even had to restart it halfway through because I didn't like it. It was great armor practice for me XD I grabbed the fonts online for free but I cant rememb er where from O-o;; I can send them to you next time we meet if ya want.
Yeah a few people mentioned that it looked pretty heavy but I kinda figured that maybe Alien metals are lighter than ours :3 or other obligatory scientific explinations like power armor and such XD The earth was just made using photocrops and selective filters to modify the shading and make them glow a bit.
and I kinda figured out the color scheme by accident ^^; after many failed color combinations.
