Meanwhile, in the heart of the city, a dejected looking Kotodama stood
perched on top of a tall skyscraper in downtown Tokyo.

"I was THIS close from our revenge on Sake, dear uncle," the costumed vole grumbled,
lowering his head before he felt a paw gently placed on his back.  He quickly spun
around and then looked on in complete surprise.  "Poison Lily?"

"Yes, it is I," the costume wolfess said in a gentle voice.  "You are not the only one who
can track someone down."

"Hai," he nodded, "but, why?"

"I do not normally do this, Kotodama, especially to a Bureau Agent, but I wanted to thank
you for rescuing me, again."

"It was nothing, I was only trying to.." the vole stopped in mid-sentence as the ninja
wolfess gently lifted him off his feet.

"I know what you tried to do, dear friend, and I am in your debt," Poison Lily said, placing
a quick kiss on his stunned lips before setting him down.  "I still loathe the Bureau, but
you are, as the Americans would say, ok in my book."

The still surprised vole was speechless as Poison Lily prepared to leave.

"One more thing, Kotodama.  Mention this encounter to ANYONE and I will hunt you
down and gut you like a fish at the marketplace, Sayonara!" the costumed wolfess spoke
as she leapt off the rooftop, swinging downward on the grapple rope she had thrown
previously.  As Kotodama ran over to the roof ledge and watched her swing out of sight,
he looked up into the sky, smiling as the sun began to rise over the distant mountains.
