In Cele Trei Creaturi’s world history, most cowbird caravans had regular sized cattle with small woven houses attached like saddlebags. The cattle were directed by small-form cowbirds tugging on earring reins. A couple of cowbirds in large-form would usually walk or fly along with the caravan, keeping an eye on the herd and rounding up any stragglers.

The settlement below was built on a titanic archetype, a giant immortal auroch cow, with earring reins manned by two large-form cowbirds. The city itself was a massive saddle of interconnected buildings, mostly made of woven thatch, leather, and light wood splints. Cowbird cities like this served as wandering trading hubs.

Because of violent human interference, these caravans are now mostly a thing of the past.
