Yay for skunks!! I was thrilled to see your take on this character - you really did him justice! First I'm gonna mention the clever tail loop you put on his jeans. I probably never would have thought about that. The fact that you did delights me for some weird reason hahah. This pose looks looks super comfy - reminds me of being a kid and looking through Highlights magazines on the kitchen floor (I never read comic books!). Wonderful job on the lighting/shading here as well, it looks very convincing! I saw on Twitter that they loved it and I'm not a bit surprised :D I love that you don't just draw characters - you create these lovely little scenes for them. It makes them feel so much more 'real'. This one in particular is very relaxing and makes me feel calm and happy!

I saw that loop quite a few times on FA and I shamelessly ripped it off, haha :D It's a small thingy but it makes more sense on anthro animals wearing clothes. I have somewhat similar memories! Me and my older brother used to collect Donald Duck comics. I was devastated when I found out my parents threw them away, I'd still gladly read them!
I'm happy you noticed it, I always try to come up with something like that! It's difficult in some cases because sometimes I just know too little about the character - but it's fun nonetheless!

I wasn't too sure about that background but my overly-critical little brother OK-ed it, so I stuck with it, hahaha. It's great to know you like it as well!
Unfortunately, his pants are a rip-off because I saw several artists drawing them like that :D I just simplified the idea a little. Thank you!
