I was able to suit at St. Joe's Annual Picnic here in Louisville, and the weather allowed for a pretty enjoyable experience! Here's Cyclone with some little ones, all posing for a pic. These were a group of fun little guys, and they had a sister too -- she was terrified at first, but with the help of her big brothers holding her and guiding her to Mr. Kitty, she toughened up enough to pet my tail, high five me, and then wave goodbye!
I hear a lot of folks say, "oh what could you get out of suiting?" Well, for me at least, it's the positive little moments like this. It's when the kiddos squeeze onto your leg when you try to walk off, or when they hold your hand instead of high-fiving when you go for a 'down low'. It's the general sense of happiness that you inspire while in suit, that's what makes it for me. The picture doesn't even begin to capture it ^^
Camera is wonky, date at the bottom right is wrong. And hey, does that suit make my thighs look big? No? Just me? Okay :P
