Still currently helping out with a short film that's kinda dark humor in it and wanted to share some work I've been doing for it. Mainly synth based, this was made for a strong bass pattern and some trap beats to give it a darker edge while the synths make it moody and contemplative. I do love synth music, and I really like this, but I'm not sure this achieves the effect you want. It sounds contemplative up until about :19 when the drum comes in, though the starting melody continues the previous melody until 1:17 when it stops. You may need more minor keys for it to seem moody.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the director about what he thinks about it but I'm very thankful for your perspective and feelings you got from the track!
Maybe I could add more minor chord progressions to the whole pattern and make it into a longer track. Again, thanks fir the feedback :3
