i am making a gaint plush dragon for next years fair (creative arts show, toy division)
i found the pefect scale fur now i just need the rest of the colors figured out.
i plan to use faux grooved mink fur for the belly scales and the only colors i can find that work for this is white, red and purple (i want yellow, gerrr!)
i am also limited on what colors the 3 inch long fur comes in.
so anyway these are the color combos i came up with and i would like to know what you all think.
i am leaning twords 4

If you're wanting to go for something bright and eye-catching, you should go with #2. HOwever, if you're wanting to go with something elegant and something that would be more about your craftmanship and how you put it together than about how eye-catchingly bright it is, #4 is your better bet.
this is actually a commision that the owner is letting me enter in the fair.
his budjet is $2000 which is plenty of wiggle room for me (i don't plan to charge that much) and after it is built i will decide how much to actually charge as i have never made such a thing before and i do not know how hard it would be.
it would be at least $100 though as its as big as a fursuit.
i normally do not take on plush commissions but i love asian dragons and the opp to make one this big was too awsome to pass up. and entering it in the fair is the icing on the cake as it may just take best in show as its pretty extreme (i got best in show twice before for some pretty extreme items)
