If you want to get more technical, the painting was all with a simple hard circle brush on one layer. Glasses on a second layer, lines on a third.

The trick is, though, getting my linework up to par.

Well if your linework catches up with your texturing you'll become really impressive!

Except I've added an extra dark stripe near the bottom (tip) of the tail. Adds a bit of raccoon-ness that I think fits my personality well, especially since I collect/hoard so much stuff. :P

That fur is so ridiculous, this piece is even better than the last one, please keep this up, its so awesome.........I love it so much when you do art ^^

I don't know but this could be just me, but the fact more white than green kinds of bugs me, I dunno.
Did you use a real tiger ref for this?

I used refs in the "pre-production", I guess you could say. I looked up a few pictures of tigers before drawing this and just sketched a few thumbnail sketches at various angles to get the general head shape and where the rough colors and markings should be. Once I had it fairly down I was able to just sit down and draw this headshot with no refs. So the lack of green is just because this is how I interpreted a tiger's colors being on an anthro, just with the green replacing the orange.

Oh I see, yea I'm use to the color being more on the shoulder and neck, but that's just me, so yea.

With all of that fantastic detail in that fur those nasty flat black outlines are making me rage.
