Request for Lucid on the IRC. Actually, it was more like "I am going to draw you now because you've never been drawn |:c" Or maybe I just really like drawing people that have nonsensical fur colors.
Photoshop CS2, probably over 10 hours. I don't know. I'm bad at keeping track.

Thanks! And ummm... this should work: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1789549/
Except I've added an extra dark stripe near the bottom (tip) of the tail. Adds a bit of raccoon-ness that I think fits my personality well, especially since I collect/hoard so much stuff. :P

I used refs in the "pre-production", I guess you could say. I looked up a few pictures of tigers before drawing this and just sketched a few thumbnail sketches at various angles to get the general head shape and where the rough colors and markings should be. Once I had it fairly down I was able to just sit down and draw this headshot with no refs. So the lack of green is just because this is how I interpreted a tiger's colors being on an anthro, just with the green replacing the orange.
Much thanks for the compliments and the +F. 8D

Aden, this is really really late, and I just caught this comment but, instead of black lines you can attempt what I did in this picture

See how I basically drew the lines in the color of the fur? and basically used a light grey to shade the popped up areas?
Well, just thought I'd give a little advice and an example. :3
Best of luck in future works.
