There is a lot of Alex and Setrin art I want to do for my story, loads of foreshadowing and stuff, but a few aren't quite figured out yet, this one however I was quite excited to work on.

This... Technically isn't spoiler, the image represents the two characters around 10 bat years after the events of the story. However, that doesn't mean the story will actually go in a direction that would make these versions of them possible. I basically just felt like drawing what these two would look like if they lived among the vampyrum colony, which might or might not happen.

For the record, during the actual story Setrin is 35 (human) years old while Alex is 15, so this is the first image of her as an adult. Her muzzle is longer and slightly more narrow, the ears appear smaller now too, of course she's also taller, though still pretty small compared to the vampyrum.

Now the most noticeable change is that both of them got a few extra scars. So (hypothetical) story time: Even years later their "friendship" (or whatever you wanna call that) is messed up to no end and the two tend to often fight each other, verbally as well as physically. Normally it's no big deal but one day Setrin pushes things just a bit too far, so Alex declares "fuck you" and decides to decorate Setrin's face with a nasty gash. Setrin is of course not one to let things like that slide, plus also being a bit of a sore loser, so in return he gives her a matching set of scars on her wing arms. Just so they're even. The rest of the colony doesn't even comment on it as they're used to that shit by now and have all joined the "ignorance is bliss" club, basically letting these two do whatever they want.
