We found Alistair banging his head off a tree. Bigby ran in to pull him back, noticing his bloodied forehead, but Alistair pushed my brother away and claimed that the pain “keeps the voices down.” Bigby naturally said that he didn’t understand, to which Alistair forcefully replied, “None of you would understand, would you?”
…He tried to turn back to the tree and continue pounding his head, but I effortlessly grappled him with my new size and strength… I held him tightly, desperate to stop him from hurting himself…

Bomba and players
Marshtomphappy,
Serophous,
MonsterMutt,
CaitSith and
Quinn. After the stress of a battle for our lives, the shock of my character Lank transforming into a monster, and the heartbreak of losing an ally in that battle, Serophous'/Shimmer's character Alistair had a bit of a personality turn into another personality that had been within him since the game started. Whether the injury he was giving himself was helping him mentally or not, we couldn't bring ourselves to let him knock himself out, and so our characters desperately approached him. Lank was more than a bit surprised to find it an effortless endeavor to pull Alistair back, and the realization of his new size and strength, and the loss of general mobility and good looks, would soon lead him to try taking on a new identity as Gargantua, named after the first word used to describe his appearance post-transformation.
You can follow up on the latest events in the campaign as written by Lank/Gargantua here. Bomba and the players have been doing an absolutely amazing job making this much more than a by-the-numbers campaign and creating a web of relationships and plot that we all truly care about.
