My first commision (yay!) goes to very nice person  XepherFox, who was brave enough to give me full creative freedom to draw his lovely character Nanaru as I wanted and how I imagined. In fact, until the last moment, XepherFox had no idea what the picture would look like and what it would be about. I hope he's not dissapointed.

For me it was an interesting experience drawing someone else's character without any revisions or clear references. A little bit stressful, because I don't know whether it'll be hit or miss, but definetly fun and special.

Well, let me introduce Nanaru, a female Strawberry Tiger, who besides many other things, likes to read books inside when it rains, and also loves music :3

Initially on first sketches she was reading actual book, but I thought it would be cool to have some sort of reflected light on her face from like tablet or phone, to make it feel more intimate and personal (kinda bonfire or candle effect) so I give her ipad thingy, besides today people usually read books on devices, but to convey the idea of reading, I added real books to the scene, and a piece of cake in case she wanted to get more curvy ;)
I hope she likes cakes :3
