It seems like Lara has decided to add some features to her mind swapping machine ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2513080/ ). This time, she added an option that will not just swap the mind of the two subjects, it will also merge it with the previous owner's perks and abilities.

In more details, it will only transfer a part of the brain that contains the consciousness, personality and important memories. In the new body, you will gain all that body's past, learned and passive skills along with the main memories of that body. So you know you're yourself in a different body but you know how it works, what it can do and not. You also gain its memories too so you're the perfect replacement of that person if you wish too. You can either replace them or start anew with the newly gained skills!

One night, Lara wanted to try that new addition with, of course, her favorite test raccoon thing subject, Ness. She searched around for a perfect "volunteer" that would as much as possible different from Ness. By some "lucky" coincidence, one had just rang at the door of the lab. Knaxia had stopped by to ask for directions as she wasn't familiar in town and the lab was the only place that was still lit at this hour.

Lara couldn't let that opportunity pass, a reptilian lazy was the best option she could get! She asked her new guest to sit down for a minute while she went to go "get a map" to "help show directions"(don't we have mobile phones with map apps now?). Next thing you know, some fumes fill in the waiting room followed by a lost of consciousness.

The following morning, an unknown, yet for some reason, familiar ring tone woke Knaxia up. Still half asleep and trying to remember what's going on, she opened her eyes trying to grab the phone that was ringing on the table. Something was wrong at first, really blurry vision and... paws covered in fur? Still trying to figure out what's going on, she managed to focus on the phone and saw a number she immediately recognized, it was her own! She quickly answered to hear her own voice at the other end.

"I hope I didn't wake you up! This body is so lovely and so nice to go walk around with, lots of people eying and throwing compliments!" Hearing your own voice talk to you feels really strange. It continued before having time to say anything: "I'm getting quickly used to it, good thing this is permanent. Don't worry about anything, I'll take care of it as much as you did before. No one will with notice anything except for maybe the quick change of wardrobe. You know so many nice and handy things, I'll put them to good use. Hope you'll enjoy being the number test subject for Lara, enjoy your new body because I sure will enjoy this one!"

Still confused and unable to place a word, the last thing that could be heard was "Oh and don't try to get it back, as I've already said; it's permanent. Good luck finding your way back to your old place, I'm going to move out of here to start fresh, here's one last view of your old body, it will be the last time you see it!" Then the line cut off.

Few seconds later, a message comes in with a selfie from a her own face, worn by someone else. Ness had gone through her credit cards and went on a shopping spree just to send a picture of a Ness-dressed female argonian to her previous owner.

So that's it. Ness is Knaxia (Nessia?) and Knaxia is Ness (Knax I'd guess?).
