The time has come for Alex to get the refugees off the island and put his plan into the final stages. However, his plans are put in jeopardy when Damien discovers what he's been up to, forcing a battle between them...

This story takes place shortly before the events of "Demystify Feast" and explains a number of things that occur in there (such as why Damien has only one sword, why he decides to side with Alex over Sefra). I also took this opportunity to try something completely new with fight scenes. Specifically, I tried to make it play out like a classic curtain shooter video game. Unfortunetly, this also means the battle scene is largely a niche appeal, so it might not be entertaining to everyone...

As with before, there is a theme to this battle. Meanwhile, the story title was picked almost randomly off my songlist, but it at least sorta works since "charming" is apparently a hunting strategy used by foxes where they draw in prey by taking advantage of their curiosity, and Damien is a fox, so... Yeah.
