A little taste of that picture I'd started, in scraps. You can see the light and shadow now, played with a few techniques in its creation that differ a bit from the usual.

No. I don't like doing that. I'm not going to pirate it. Piracy on a corporate level may not cause any real problems but that's only because they have the sales to make up for it. For individuals a lost sale is far worse, I feel bad for you guys because it's so easy to for people to steal your stuff.

Maybe it's just because I don't have 96-year-old-grandmother eyes, but I can see it just fine. It's a slightly low-res image, not a thumbnail. Christ.
Anyway, I liked purple Ransom, but red Ransom is cute too, so hey. I love the expression.

The image is also hot, and getting to see even this much of it is a treat. Especially as even more incentive to join HB, which I wanted to do anyway. It's incentive, not invitation to whine about what you can't have (presumably because you're too cheap for HB.) You can't even complain about Jijix being a cocktease or anything, since it's not like you have to look especailly hard to find full uncensored free art elsewhere in the gallery. Peronally, I think http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2394076/ is about the hottest thing he's ever done and is actually better than what I've seen so far of the HB promos, though the HB promos are certainly still more than nice enough for me to want a membership. Either way, though, quit acting like seeing a slightly low-res (if the original is really 4x bigger, then the original is God Damned Enormous) cropped promo mixed in with the rest of the work has wronged you somehow.

Getting to see an advertisement is a treat? Look.. I'm not against artists making money, in fact I really hope they do. I just wish they didn't feel forced to use these rogue advertising tactics to get more sales.
I'd rather not reward HB for posting these rogue adverts. It's practically like buying something from a spam email; you don't do it because you don't want to encourage them!
I'm quite happy with most of what Jijix posts, don't get me wrong. But enough people post these ads that it gets my attention and becomes annoying. FA isn't for posting advertisements about stuff you're trying to sell (with the only exception being commissions). I'd rather complain now before it gets out of hand.
The posted image is 349×450, the full version on the paid site better be at least 1396x1800, if not bigger. If it's costing a premium price, it better be premium content; very large lossless .png files should be available, for example.

The rest of it is pretty much irrelevant, since we clearly have a fundamental and irreconcilable disagreement on the nature of advertisements and what constitutes them being obnoxious. It's a cute and hot picture, even in its cropped state. It's eye candy, not a used car salesman screaming at you to buy a God damned Hardblush account, free oil change for 10,000 miles or my name isn't Crazy Jijix.
So since we pretty much are never going to agree on that one and

I'm gonna have to agree with Jijix here and just tell you to stop. As much as I agree with you and feel your points are more than valid, I've seen people argue with Shokuji. You're better off bashing your head against a wall. He won't change his mind and won't ever admit his wrong no matter HOW many ways you prove it to him. So just let him be a douche and lets all go back to appreciating this hot piece of tail and finding our credit card so we can see the regular version. :)

OMG!!! Cant we all just appreciate this fine piece of work!? I mean... he even asked politely not to complain about the fact that he was putting it on HB. Im not trying to be a bitch here, just trying to be considerate, cause Im sure it doesnt make Jijix feel to good. After all, like I said, he did ask politely not to create drama around how he didnt post the uncensored version and stuff.

I'd love to post it here, but I can't... So, I did the next best thing in my eyes and posted a little shot. Like I said above, this isn't so much to advertise for HB so much as it is to just post a work of mine that I did and was proud of.
The agreement is that if I produce a picture for HB I may only post a version that is:
a) at or below 400 x 400
b) has the HB stamp on it
I actually cropped this the way that I did because I wanted to draw attention to the lighting techniques I had used.
If you'd like, I can resize the whole picture, uncensored, to be 400 x whatever it will be. :3

Hair and clothes look really wonderful. The hard lighting there was an excellent idea that led to an equally excellent result. I'm not as sure about the shoulders, though. Looks fine on his left shoulder, but maybe a thinner lighting line would have been in order on the right one (it kind of looks painted, as if Ransom had tribal markings).
The little differences go a long way here, though, and are *definitely* a plus! Do keep following that path!
Also, the little red patches on his chest and navel are absolutely adorable.
