PastBlast Monday: Here's one of the first pieces I did after taking a painting workshop with wildlife artist Al Agnew in 1996.
Titled "Butterfly Woods", this piece combined a cartoon Cindy and Randy with more traditional wildlife illustration and painting techniques.
It was an wonderful privilege to take this class and so much was learned in 3 short days!
Be sure to check out Al Agnew's website here:

And I still cherish the original piece. Man, that was 20 years ago. Still a beautiful work. Good to see you share it here. I've got to find a spot to hang it up in my new digs. Kinda fitting, as I live in a redwood forest. With the occasional real fox wandering by. Great stuff! Thanks! Stubat
Yep, it's still a great cheery picture to boost one's spirits! My house situation is a bit interesting, tho. Last couple of years, the migrating trees and earth have created issues. A third of the house was hanging over space for awhile when the earth dropped about 8 feet. Took me 15 months to get utility electricity back in. It's a challenge at times, but a beautiful area. The moon's shining thru the trees outside my window as I type. Many chunks of the road are still missing after last year's storms. But I hang on. Literally..:)
It's fun to see these reposts of past works. Thanks for sharing! Stay healthy and dry! Stubat
