As someone who, when it comes to drawing, never had an original thought, I really know what that is like.
The thing I do when I don't know what to draw is use a random phrase generator. I got to draw "grouchy fairies remarkably slay jar" or "perpetual ambiguous goldfish" for example.
I'm actually developing a small tool to generate random phrases right now. It's not quite finished as I'm currently assembling long lists of random words, but once I'm done I could share it with you, if you like.
