the ref kinda shows how different they can be in guardian form and also the luminescence that is characteristic of guardians. (aka the glowyness whooooo )

LV-426 is actually the barren moon in the original Alien movies. Guardian larvae (vampys) are transported to other planets in order to breed stronger fighters and he happened to be assigned to that one...
After about the age of 14 (182 in human years) he was transported back to the deoxihybrid community where he served as part of a royal guard until mature. Once aged the royals' council placed him in a small operational specialty task force where his abilities excelled. His cocky attitude tends to be an irritant on missions and he has to be kept in at least a group of 2 or more to stay on objective course, however his ferocity and fighting skills prove to be an extremely beneficial asset.
He would rather attack first, ask questions later and tends to be easily set off balance as a guardian (which caused a great deal of damage in many missions).

brief overview: Deoxihybrids are aliens that consume the blood of other organisms when young (larvae/vampys) and have the DNA encripted into their own by DNA polymerase. Over time they begin to take certain characteristics after those for which they're encoded after. The shields on the back of their head are characteristics of their lineage along with whether they are Royal, Guardian, or Normal classes. Guardians are the only one with a larger form. Hope that wasnt too much to digest XD lol
