Far above the venting flues and industrial plumes of monolithic cities, vast sky-faring vessels known as Xcyships (or Sky-ships) track across the sphere, daring the high-wind walls of the world’s ceiling. Such colossal vessels are not new, but their development has altered the economics, technologies and exploration of lands both known and undiscovered. Manufactured by the CoGen Corporation and fuelled by Deltsi Conglomeration refineries, these sky-crawlers were the first step to opening drastic new possibilities. Their existence has revolutionized the society of the land-bound peoples. For hundreds of years during the Gyro Revolution, industries flourished and cities arose far above their former skylines thanks in part to the tireless effort of these terrific air-dwelling leviathans.
Demonstrated in this image are the engines of the Xcyship; one at the fore, three strewn along the fuselage and the crucial propulsion turbine at the rear. When the liquid variant of unrefined Ambrosia is placed into the furnace burner on a Xcyship (the spheric turbines in the image), it evaporates into a lifting substance, allowing the ship to rise. When it is released, it will then counter-actively descend. Lycure Ichor is the name of the Ambrosia fuel used to power Xcyships. The vessel also has rudders at the aft which are capable of trimming its direction. As Xcyships in their primitive days were less manoeuvrable, their gun platforms were built to turn quickly for rapid response to threats.
This particular Xcyship also possesses launching bays for Zippers, the swift, but limited range skycraft. Zippers were used for scouting missions, anti-Zipper defence or for bombing other Xcyships.
In order to house the monstrous titans of metal, cities built specialized ports with incredible hangars to support them. Whilst they were not swift and could at times be beaten to their destination by Rail-runners, they were capable of crossing the Divide, carrying more cargo or passengers and could stay aloft for immense journeys that sometimes took weeks.

The Xcyship depicted is merely a concept design (of the HHS Starstride) and will undergo further development in its design in the future. I felt it was finally time to post more serious images in regards to the Clock/Cyberpunk-themed project.
