"Night had crept in before Sabre* even noticed. He'd been searching the old quarry for the source of the strange readings the lab had picked up the night previous. His party should have met him hours ago but they were nowhere to be seen. His digital transceiver couldn't pick up any signal either and was fast running low on power. He set up 4 lanterns as beacons in the hope of being seen and rescued but with each passing hour his optimism dwindled. The light of the moons would have to suffice for now. Would there be a repeat of last nights disturbance and would he bare witness to it's cause?"
