Originally I wasn't going to do a price increase until January, but my partner persuaded me to do it sooner. And I think he was right, because its been apparent for a while now that the profit I make from one commission is simply not enough to cover my living expenses until I finish the next commission. As a result of this, I keep on having to take on more work, resulting in a huge queue that never diminishes and stretches so far into the future that I can't accurately predict my turnaround times. I imagine this is quite frustrating for my customers and certainly very stressful for me. And so, a price increase is required. This does not effect those who are already in the queue or on the waiting list.
