Memories reflect through Lou's mind as he rests on the shore; memories of neglect and judgment that were painfully hard to forget. But with his beloved Brionne sister Mia by his side, it was possible for him to stay relaxed despite his struggle. He lays against the Brionne and gazes into the far ocean distance, not wanting to be anywhere else except in her embrace. His eyes were closed, body slightly limp against Mia's body as her flipper was rested on his. Mia was gazing straight out to the horizon as well, watching the Moon slowly rise in view above the ocean surface as the evening shifted into dusk. "Lou.. Take a look at the light ahead." Mia asked before the Popplio weakly opened up and pointed his gaze in the same direction Mia looks, toward the bright white moon. She speaks again in a soft voice. "As of now, millions of other creatures far and wide see the same moon that we do. There's more to this world than what we're used to." She gently wraps her arm around the Popplio as he keeps staring straight without a word. "One day, my sweet little brother, we will go beyond the ocean. We'll meet new people, see new sights.. It'll be scary, but it'll also be an unforgettable experience. And best of all, you will find kind souls who will love you no matter what you look like. And all that you need to do? Just be yourself. There's no better way to go about it."
She could then hear a deep, shallow breath coming from Lou as she glanced at his eyes. They were still focused on the moon, its light reflecting off of the tears shed from his eyes as they roll down his cheeks. Mia instantly pulled him closer, resting her chin on top of his head in a comforting manner as she looked down at him with her soft teal eyes. They held their close embrace for a good while until Lou finally spoke after a long time of silence.. "... Thank you..." Mia's heart nearly sank from the surprise before she returned a soft smile, kissing his forehead before returning her gaze to the moon with her head still nuzzled against his. "I love you, Louie. Don't forget that."
