More reposted stuff, Rico the Vampyrum/Spearwing hybrid.

Rico is a member of the same Vampyrum colony as Setrin. He is kinda odd, starting with the fact he is quite charismatic and loves to flirt with the lady bats of the colony, despite having a mate already. But everyone knows he's just messing around, it's more of a game to him and he never goes farther than that as he does love his mate and is quite loyal to her. She also doesn't mind his flirting since she knows she can trust him. Other than that he is quite set in the ways of how the food chain works, thus he does not approve of Setrin dragging around a small bat as if it were a pet. Food is food and should be treated as such, any bat other than a Vampyrum is thus labeled as prey. Even going as far as attempting to kill Alex himself, though so far his attempts all failed. Ironically Rico is actually a half-breed, his father being a different species, thus a "prey bat". But he's aware it's something that can't be changed and is actually quite protective of his family, making his father the only exception in the "food is food" rule. Rico doesn't even mind being a half-breed, only times it really gets annoying is when others think they can look down on him for it. Which is not too smart as he does have the standard size and strength of a Vampyrum and thus can hold his own in a fight, and while normally being rather easygoing in personality, he can get quite ferocious.
