If I lack carpet, I prefer to wear slippers, sandals or socks. >< I hate bare floors. It gets *dusty* and you can feel everything as if it were huge and gnobbly. And you do look a bit disconcerted. A strange look of sad, disgruntled confusion out of the corner of your eyes. Oo'

And yes, I don't care for the kitchen floor. I actually am not very fond of carpet though, either.

Agreement on the koala-esque. I just put Badger to it, but with the mention, the face does tilt toward koala. The big nose, blunter snout and large, low slung ears.
