Once his kind were as slaves to a cruel empire, Adalhard found the fire to lead his fellows in forming a rebellion movement that ended with the government's destruction. But this branded him a conqueror by the "enlightened," lands. A barbarian he was called. A monster. Adalhard, for the sake of his people again, chose to take action by living up to the beliefs of the "Lands of Light," becoming a world-feared conqueror to give his formerly oppressed kind more land to grow, to expand, and to become their own people. If he has to be seen as a monster for it, then so be it.
