well in my world, either lananara, or an earth the furry meek have inherited,
there just aren't enough people for there to be really big conflicts.
not even enough people to be a threat to their environment.
the only thing 'bigger' then each fully independent village,
are the very small railways that connect them.
individuals are still all different ways,
but individuals and small villages can deal with what needs to be,
without having to destroy their world to do so.
people who don't hate logic,
aren't too busy hating each other to not be interested in letting each other
enjoy making things they each enjoy.
most imagine there are some sort of invisible things too,
but not invisible things that wish to be feared.
i know there may always be someone who wants to be a napoleon or great khan,
but there are compelling reasons their recruitment efforts fall on deaf ears.
ears few in number, with more enjoyable and rewarding things to do,
like building odd little houses, odd little trains, and odd little monuments,
to the diversity of sapient creativity, and whatever odd friendly invisible things,
might happen to exist also.
always things could come from somewhere to disturb something,
but ways of turning them aside, don't have to wear big epic badges of militancy to do so.
one of today's humanity's big mistakes is to imagine that they do.
