This is absolutely a study and one fantastic one at that. You already mentioned the size of the pipe but truthfully as far as scale and perspective go? It's only truly noticable by those actively searching for it. think you absolutely nailed it with the colors and truth be told, your painting style here is ten times better than any stupid filter because it feels so much more real, and it feels so much more intimate. I can believe this is more than just someone taking a simple photo of their workspace.

oh you have a cintiq too! the stand it comes with obscures my keyboard so its annoying when i'm chatting with friends and going between that and drawing;; but it looks like that works for you!
