Done with a combination of traditional and digital media (mostly traditional) including microns, prismacolor markers, and gel pens. I used loads of gel pen because I love teh sparklies. Unfortunately they don't scan very well. The gel pen areas ended up looking grainy on the scan. In reality the area around the letters is gold sparkle, there is orange sparkle around the figure, yellow in and around the sun, and orange on the reflection on the back of the feathers...and it all shimmers like crazy! The sun looks a little bit like an egg. Hmm...

Badge is approximately 5.5 by 3.5 inches including laminated edge. The scan doesn't do it justice.

I'm not totally happy with the coloring and the lettering is kind of hard to make out. Oh well, that gives me a good excuse to make another badge in a year or so.
