not furry art, but i really need to put it here:
is my style changing? yea, i think so.
for too long i tried to develop my art to reach what i thought would attract more viewers, or what people would like to see in general, instead of making what i actually want to do. And that's completely normal. When you are new at art you see so many great artists making different stuff and you automatically compare yourself to them, you think "what do I need to do to be like this?"
Well. The truth is that there no "right way" to do things in an art career. And that's what makes it so difficult. It's not like you can read a bunch of math books and study a lot and you will get good at it. No, sometimes you just depend on the luck of people out there liking the same thing as you, it doesn't matter if it's "good" or "bad".
I've known so many artists that I'd follow and love their art style, but then suddenly.. They just change it all? Their art just goes crazy, and they never draw like they did before. It used to confuse me and make me really pissed like "wtf they were such an great artist, but out of nowhere just change your entire style??" But I guess i'm making the same thing here and I'm hating myself a bit for it haha
Maybe this big ass stupid text doesnt matter to any of you lol I'm just putting off some thoughts.
Some of you may have not even noticed anything different and its all in my head?

the thing about jugding our own style is that it looks totally different to us than it is to other people ;m;

em pt porque eu to com pregui de pensar em inglês e trancrever: é ótimo experimentar com art styles diferentes, mesmo que você não ?? de fato ??? vá desenvolver?? todos eles?? mas sei lá, em algum momento você acerta e envereda por aquele caminho ;;
nico, tu é um artista muito foda e eu te respeito muito como tal e tbh? eu só vejo improvement em tudo o que você faz
é como cê mesmo disse, pra você pode não parecer nada demais e que você não avançou, mas é porque tá na sua cabeça (?), enquanto pra quem é de fora e não sabe o que esperar, tudo é incrível o:

styles evolve all the time though, it's only your art progressing. I can't think of any examples of totally changing your style except for maybe after a big study, haha. Regardless you always have a really noticable flare that I don't really know how to describe, but, it's still really nice <3
