Hey everyone! I've finally decided to post more art involving Ariana! And provide a small bit of her family's history.
Here, Ariana's showing Sly, Bentley, and Murray her family heirloom. A tapestry featuring the most prominent members of the Madden Clan's history. Similar to Sly's, The Maddens have been a family of thieves.
Here they are in short descriptions:
MALAK MADDEN - Ariana's ancestor from Ancient Egypt. One of the first Maddens to pioneer in the art of thievery. Also started the family fighting style, fighting with sticks.
JAZAL AL-MADANI - Ariana's ancestor from Arabia, 1001 AD. A caravaneer who's specialty is stealing from thieves and giving them to the poor. Known for disguising himself as a nobleman. Skilled in double-wielded swordfighting.
LADY WINONA MADDEN - Ariana's ancestor from the Medieval Era. Known for her honeyed words and seduction, she steals from arrogant kings and princes. Also known to disguise as a peasant or a knight.
ALODIA O'MADDEN - Ariana's ancestor from Celtic Ireland. Known for her war cries and unwavering bravery, she is known to be a dragon tamer. Known for being able to imitate voices for deception.
HIROKO MADDEN - a geisha from Feudal Japan who is a well known artisan. Secretly a ninja in disguise, her prominent feature is her flexibility.
MARKUS MADDEN THE RED - a Madden from the Golden Age of Piracy known for robbing other Pirates and bandits. He and his pirate crew are prominent in battles and uses these as diversions for their thefts.
ALISTER MADDEN - a gentleman from the Victorian Era, he uses various steampunk gadgets to aid him in his escapades. Also known for his puzzles and riddles.
ROCKY "THE RED" MADDEN - a jazz musician from the Roaring '20s, he emigrated to the US to pursue a career in music. Also a thief, he uses music to distract his enemies.
ANDREA MADDEN - an ace pilot during WWI. She has been known to steal from the enemy using a glider when her plane is not in use. She disappeared during a flight over Bermuda.
MAURICE MADDEN - Ariana's father who was prominent in the 70's. He is a pro dancer and uses this as a factor in his heists. Once collaborated with the Coopers.
