I was recently brought in to help design and build a size-manipulation device. In this case, it was used to shrink a nutrient supplement from its original volume (about 4 litres) to about 1/1000th of that.
Of course, I snuck into the lab after hours to test my handiwork. It seems you can pack a load of calories and probably some other weird stuff into a pill if you've got teams of biochemists and physicists working on your project (the key is not telling them they're working together) so now my body is just overflowing with fat.
It's a good thing I have something to make my clothes bigger. Just a pity I didn't use it sooner.
