I guess it all depends...
I have stuff from Hongyi, Inflatableworld, Puffypaws and Mereck.
Meeck has pretty much went to Hongyi, so not much to say there.
IW basically makes king sized pooltoys. If you've had a largishpooltoy, that's IW. Their only downside is that they have pinched seams. That is the weakest of the lot.
Puffypaws has the best quality overall. Smooth seams, outstanding colors, but the plastic feels a tad stiff to me.
Hongyi is a real grab bag, they are all over the place. their plastic is softer than Puffypaws, but thicker than IW. Their seams are lapped, but their paint can be a nightmare. I like my Dashie here, but her color is fading rapidly. On the flip side, I have a goodra that is the golden standard by which I measure all others...
I guess it also depends on how big you are... Mishka is really too big to ride in the pool, or anywhere else for all that matters, unless you are over 7' tall, you will herniate something if you try to straddle that. (Makes an ok hammock, though) I might look at getting her in the 2.5m size as opposed to the 4m.
The naturally laying poses are better for sitting on in the pool, or elsewhere. If a toy is standing, it is a good idea to deflate the legs so that the weight is borne by the toy's tummy. That's where Dashie fails. leaks will develop on the stress points where the legs join the body. Deflating Dashie's rear legs makes you fall over backwards!
Are you thinking of ordering something?

Thanks for all the information, it's great to get such an in-depth response~!
I've been thinking about ordering something like that for years, but as with all young furs I'm sure you know we have many more obstacles that prevent us from ever purchasing a puffy pooltoy. >.<
Thankfully you've uploaded lots of great pics for a good variety of inflatables and it's helped give me an idea of what to save up for~

The nice thing about Hongyi is that they also let you do some customizations on an existing design. I'm famous for changing the valve locations. I'll delete wings or claws as well. Actually that pooltoy pic that catdogjoe made for you might translate well color-wise onto the eevee body. The hair might be rough, they could probaly make the ears work though. The bad thing is that if you want the design to be private, they are bad at that. A reason why Puffypaws hates them. Hongyi has taken many of their designs and copied them with varying degrees of success...
