Feast report
Begin log, identifier: Officer Gomu
Feasts are 3 legged fat monsters found in landfills and other areas where rotting matter is present.
Their identifying physical features are the massive mouth and three legs, all attached to a wide and corpulent body
Their diets seem to be mainly based on scavenging whatever organic material they can get their hands on...Old food, dead fauna, various plants...All that good stuff.
However they have the potential to become bored with their meals and can start hunting live food.
This is when they get dangerous.
When a Feast eats, it ambushes its prey and takes large bites out of whatever's squirming in their grip, this includes people.
Despite being well over 7 feet tall and fat, their bodies are deceptively flexible, able to cram themselves into small spaces by dislocating joints and compressing their girth.
There's been one instance of someone finding a Feast hidden inside their freezer. Fortunately in that incident, the cold had slowed the creature down enough for the victim to escape.
With that, we move onto combat notes.
When engaging with a feast, it's important to keep your shield up at all times, even if that means offering it up as something for it to bite on while you attack.
Bladed weapons are suggested here as a Feast's skin in very elastic, most blunt instruments and projectiles will simply bounce off without harming it.
A Feast will attack with punches and bites in attempt to knock you down and stomp you to death.
Though it's skin might be elastic, the inside of their mouths and bodies are not so durable so it would make sense for them to want to kill their prey first before trying to swallow down something that can thrash around and damage it.
Its mouth is also coated in bacteria from all the foul things it eats, so try not to let it break skin if possible.
Officer Shackleford suggests throwing a grenade down it's open mouth.
I'm inclined to agree, mostly because I wanna see it for myself.
These monsters may not seem very threatening but do NOT take them lightly.

Sounds some kind of halbred would be best for dealing with these things. Long blade on the end of a longer stick, allowing several Knights to engage it while it tries to focus on one. The grenade idea is good too, but probably will cause a heck of a mess.
Also, consider laying out traps composed of sharp, flexible bones and ligaments, padded by its favorite food. Fold the bones together and secure them with the ligaments first. Make sure the sharp stuff is covered so it gulps it down at once. When the ligaments are digested, the bones will spring free, killing the monster.
Won't be a quick or clean kill, but the bugger will have the worst case of indigestion ever.
