Man I was all FFFFFFFWHOA! when I saw that-- I mean... Lost is such pointless nonsense. You know they're just making it up as they go along. Yeah, it totally isn't one of my guilty pleasures. *shifty eyes*

To be honest, I am convinced they're making it up as they go along, and they're dragging it out as long as they can to cash in. I'd be less guilty if it were a miniseries with a definite end-time, but 5 seasons? Seriously, we'll be lucky if they ever tell us what the fuck was actually supposed to be going on. I guess what makes me feel guilty is that, even so, I'm still buying in to their inflated cash-cow.
That said, I'm eagerly awaiting the next season, too.

It was planned as a six season series from the end of the first season, I believe. Thats how many series ABC contracted them for, so it wasn't that they're dragging it out. Its that they had to make it this long! :3
