KOCHA!! Let me just say, wow, I can't believe you're an adult now. You're 18 and that's pretty monumental. I always forget you're so much younger than me because you matured quick when you were younger and I've always just felt that you were on an equal level with me. You were just 12 when we met. I watched you on your first day of high school, and I remember how nervous you were the night before and you just kept talking to me and asking me for advice. Recently, I watched you graduate. Now, I'm watching you become an adult. And I couldn't be any more proud of you. You've done so incredibly well and it makes me so, so happy to be there for all of it. I watched your personality change and grow over the most important years of your life, and you've blossomed into this incredible person that's just an absolute joy to talk to and be around. You make my life so much better just be existing. I'm glad to call you my best friend. You've been there for me through my worst and you've seen me at my best too. You never faltered, you were never real far from me. You really are a true friend.
Meeting you in person last weekend was just mindblowing. I know I've said it already, but all my troubles just melted away. I've never felt so at peace and so complete. I feel like it took that already crazy bond we had and made it ten times stronger somehow, just when I thought it wasn't possible. And just... I know it's cheesy but seeing that shooting star with you right by me just really felt magical in a way? I had nothing to wish for because you were already right there with me. I've said all this already but I just want you to remember that I've never had a friend like you. I know you're going to be there for life, there's no question. We'll never have to go through anything alone because we'll always have each other.
There's so much I want to say but I don't even have the words. But I feel like, somehow, you kinda know. I just honestly am so incredibly proud of you. You're an amazing person. Thank you so much for being my 'other'. You're irreplaceable. You're my best friend, my sister, and so much more. You're one in a billion!!!! And I can't wait to see you again in just 4 months! I'm seriously just counting the days.
