This began as a purely traditional piece, but then I accidentally tore the paper, so I scanned it and finished it digitally. This is a cycle that happens roughly every other year: I decide that digital is too sterile and I decide I should start making traditional art. I get halfway in and then a mistake happens. I scramble to fix it and makes an even larger mess. I make stabbing motions with the palette knife for a bit and then I scan the picture and paint it over digitally.
