Oh my gosh, but I'm so sorry that I've been inactive this and last week. I have what I consider a good reasoning to why I wasn't on but everyone has their opinion.
For the past three weeks, I've been planning a trip for my dear 'friend' (and I'll get back to that) to visit me in Canada. He lives in the U.S. so it's difficult for us to see each other especially when we have jobs and school to attend to. The trip was the best thing to ever to have happened to me and I mean it. I don't think I've ever met someone that has so many interests similar to mine and I'm lucky to have met him. I don't talk about my personal life often but I suffered from clinical depression for most of my life and I've been to many people privately for help, none of which availed. Talking with him though has really helped me mentally and I couldn't ask for a better person to spend my time with or my life for that matter. We actually started dating recently and this was our first time meeting face to face. Although long distance relationships can be hard to keep up, we're hoping on making this work. I really love him, more so than anyone I have ever met in my life and I really hope that we can make this work in the end.
I love you, and don't you forget that.

As someone in an 8 year relationship (we celebrated our anniversary this June) it's all about completely open communication, even if you're scared it'll hurt the other person's feelings/they'll judge you. Because if they really, truly love you they might judge a little but it won't effect how they feel about you at all. Gotta remember you both are humans who'll make mistakes. Bad days will be really bad, and good days will make it all worth it.

This relationship will develop further for sure! I'm not letting the distance slow me down from being with him.

Is it bad... that I looked at the title and read his name as 'hee-you-ee' and yours as 'ee-you-ee'... for some reason its darn adorable when thrown together.
I'm a fan of love as well. I know an LDR couple that's been in their relationship for 7 years. So its definitely possible. Don't allow the media to tell you otherwise.
I guess the most important thing I can share to try and aid the cause is this: falling in love is random and surprising and not often chosen. Staying in love, and together... is a choice. So may you both choose to stay the course.

I know this feeling all too well. I am an American living near Chicago, my Lovey lives in London.. it is a 6 hour time difference but we have been together 3 years this December. When you truely love someone you make it work.. I would do anything for my Kitsune, and I am so happy for you to have found someone who does the same for you.
