...yes, cheesy title, the horse's name is Death you see. Rahr play on words!
Anyways, this is my submission for this month's Equine Exchange. It's Whippetluv's Percheron stud, decked out in Carousel-like halloween tack. I took some serious liberties with that tack, hope ya don't mind! *sweatdrop*

Thats awesome . . i love how the equip looks n.n i just wish my screen res wasnt soo high . . . . this pic is pretty small and i cant even appreciate the detail put into it . . . . sometimes HD lcds arent always what they are cracked up to be. From what i can see i love how the your work on his hair turned out. the little spider on the bridles headstall is a unique touch. If i could find equip like that id buy it. LOL :D The color work is really nice too, fluffy feathers are always a plus, i had fun cleaning the two horses with them at the first farm i worked at. n.n
I know you don't usually like comments unless they have some sort of point to them, so my first instinct of shouting "Eee fuzzy feet! <3" probably wouldn't go over very well...but the feet are indeed fuzzy, and the drawing is lovely.. (ah! says you, but what makes it lovely?) and to that I say I am weary, though this does deserve a good critique..lol..
in less flowery words, things I liked:
mottled coat
textured background
smooth fabric folds in the saddle cloth
good integration of highlights in hair and the way the fuzzy feet connect to the legs <3

That saddle is just TOO damn cool. And I love his soulful eye!
I admit I'm a little confused though. I mean, the skill & flair you show at depicting the head and neck make them lovely to look at and you're rocking that bulky look around the shoulder and belly area.
And then we hit the chest, hind-quarters and hind leg. Baby needs back! His bum is all leg and no rump, there's nothing there at all and it makes him look withered. I'd say that his butt should be visually similar in proportion to what you see of his tummy. Also, with the way he's picking up his leg I don't get the impression that you need to tilt his back end sideways like that, either, even if he is doing a sideways sort of step thing. Or at least not so much ... it's a little difficult to tell, though.
Also also, that chest is way too high ... it should be on an approximate level with his belly, not part of his shoulder blade. As it is, he's got no chest at all :P poor guy must keep his heart inna box!
Anyway, enough of me. Love your work, love what you do with that dappling coat colour thing. Bla bla bla. Peace.
